Hello, Goodbye, and Everything In Between

Hello loves.

I’ve had a pretty crazy two months. Long story short, you can now get The Piper’s Price through Amazon and Barnes and Noble in the US, and it should be in select B&N stores. The international release is still delayed, according to the emails I’ve gotten from fans. I’m sorry the release was a month behind schedule and that we had to cancel all the book events planned for release. The sequel is not the same size/dimensions as the first book, and I’m sorry about that too.

I haven’t been blogging much in the past few months, and I pretty much just logged on to tell you that this trend will continue. After all the effort I put into the first book, everything with the second book has really just made me want to curl up and not do anything online. Fortunately, curling up and not doing anything online is a great way to make time for actual writing. I’ve finished writing The Neverland Wars III and am looking forward to sending the third and final book of the trilogy out into the world as soon as possible. It is very exciting to have finally penned the end, and have it on paper who grows up, who stays young, who dies heroic deaths in battle, and who ends up fulfilling all those pesky prophecies Old Willow and the mermaids kept making.

I’m also thinking about the future now, and what comes after the Neverland Wars series. The answer is lots of things. Big things. Wonderful things. A huge YA sci-fi novel about family, technology, and post-labor society in the not-as-distant-as-you-think future. You’ll see.

So if you notice I haven’t posted in a while, fear not: I am busy working on marvelous things. You can hop on the mailing list and I promise you won’t miss anything, or you can always drop me a line if you want an update. Until then…

Goodbye loves.

Yours,

Audrey

  1. Hi!! The Neverland Wars II is AMAZING and just thinking about the third one has me all jittery with anticipation πŸ™‚ I’m such a big fan of your work and I’m sure the series is going to tie up in a way that will make me sob (but a good way, of course).

    1. Holly, I love your enthusiasm and cannot wait to get the final book to you and all the other readers who share your excitement. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the second book too. I hope you’ll consider leaving a review on Amazon.com; those really help books and indie authors πŸ™‚

  2. Hi Audrey, Glad to know you’re being so creative offline…that’s the best thing! Congrats on completing the trilogy, even though there was great angst over Book 2 problems with publishing date, size etc.

And now new YA creations afoot. Keep that fertile, clever mind spinning!

    1. PJ, thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. It is great to connect with other YA writers and know that others see my challenges. Blogging is a great platform to keep from feeling alone in this huge, crazy industry! I’m looking forward to the future, and hope you are busy at work with wonderful creative stories as well πŸ™‚
